Health & Wellness Coordinator  (Full Time)

Perennial Park is seeking a Health & Wellness Coordinator for our thriving Fitness Center. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience and a passion for making a difference in the community.

You will plan, promote, organize and administer Life Enrichment programs for the community, under policies established by Hillsdale County Senior Services Center by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates: managing the Fitness Center, promoting Life Long Learning opportunities, and serving as the American Red Cross Emergency Disaster Site liaison. You will conduct and coordinate individual and group aerobic, strength and flexibility exercises.

We prefer a minimum of an associates degree in Health or Human Services area, or combination of related experience and training. Candidate must also pass criminal background check, physical exam and TB testing as mandated by Agency. Finance Coordinator  (Full Time)

Hillsdale County Senior Services Center, aka Perennial Park, is a private nonprofit that lives its mission of keeping people at home and independent. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the responsibilities of the Finance Coordinator include (but are not limited to): assist with payables and payroll as needed, comply with nonprofit policies and procedures, assist in annual budget preparation, prepares and processes monthly billing, maintain general ledger accounts, processes journal entries to ensure general ledger accuracy, assists in monthly financial statement preparation, files quarterly 941's and unemployment returns, assists with year-end closings and annual audit. Must be computer proficient, prompt and regular attendance required. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent problem-solving ability and sound judgement, demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal,) and have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must be able to multi-task, work flexible hours and work with the elder population. Should have knowledge of accounting software; payroll systems; spreadsheet software, and word processing software. Bachelor's degree or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Home-Based Aide and Respite Specialist  (Part Time)

We are currently accepting applications/resumes for both Home Based Aides and Respite Specialists. Both positions pay $12 an hour with shift differential; travel and mileage pay included for Home-Based Aides only. Both positions attend to personal hygiene and feeding needs for elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons. Home-Based Aides may also provide help with chores and homemaking tasks. These positions are part time with varied hours week to week, and include weekends, holidays, and evenings. This job would be perfect for the person looking for a second job. All part time employees are eligible to earn paid time off (PTO), free membership to our state of the art Fitness Center, Simple IRA plan if employee meets certain requirements, and Teledoc/Call A Doctor. Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver

Our Home Delivered Meals program (Meals on Wheels) needs volunteer drivers. A few hours in the middle of the day (Monday - Friday) is all that is needed. Even if you are only able to give one or two days a week, (or just a few days a month) we could use your help!
