Respite Coordinator (Full Time)

Working in the on-site Life Enrichment Program, the Respite Care Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Supervision of 1-10 employees and volunteers. You will be responsible to assist clients, their family members, and the general public with identification and resolution of problems and appropriate resources of referrals. Maintains time and payroll records, develops and maintains relations with other Human Services providers in the community. Assist with planning, design and maintenance of the Respite Care area. Educate individuals and community about Respite Care and other Center programs. Ensures assessment and evaluation of cases in order to determine a plan of care. Ensures programs are scheduled as required. Pursue training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Must maintain prompt and regular attendance and demonstrate excellence in client service, problem solving, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates group presentation skills, participates in meetings, and communicates changes effectively. Inspires trust and respect and well as integrity, and high sense of ethics. Tolerates pressure well and maintains a high standard of quality.

Prefer a Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university in Health or Human Services; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have or able to obtain Chauffeurs license and CPR/1st Aid certification. Must be able to multi-task, work flexible hours which may include weekends and evening hours. Fitness Specialist (Part Time - up to 30 hrs. per week.)

Coordinates exercise for Fitness Center members and also helps with other programs including: Equipment Loan Library, Computer Lab, and Reading Library. Actively promotes Agency mission, vision, and policies. Explains program and demonstrates correct use of exercise equipment and exercise routines to participants. Records and tracks attendance data, may assist by entering and tracking data from other Health & Wellness programs into computer. Conducts individual and group aerobic, strength, and flexibility exercises, observes participant during exercise for signs of stress. Maintain Fitness Center equipment, locker area, shower facilities, restrooms, reading library, and laundry area. Must maintain prompt attendance and confidentiality. Must posess valid Driver's License, must have (or have the ability to obtain) CPR/1st Aid certification. Other duties as assigned. Custodian (Part Time - up to 30 hrs. per week)

Ensures building and grounds are in clean and orderly condition and tends environmental mechanics to ensure services can be provided. Maintains building, performing minor and routine maintenance activities as directed by Facilities Coordinator. Assists with set up for special events and supervises volunteers as needed. Responsible for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming hallways, stairs, office spaces, kitchen, take out garbage, clean restrooms and polish floors. Maintains grounds as needed, including but not limited to, shoveling snow, mowing lawn, picking up debris. Must maintain prompt and regular attendance. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, maintain confidentiality, excellent problem solving skills and sound judgment. High school diploma or GED, valid Drivers License, must have or have ability to obtain CPR/1st Aid Certification. Transportation/Respite Specialist  (Part Time)

This position is responsible for transporting clients and will also attend to personal hygiene and feeding needs for elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons. Hourly position with varied hours week to week and may include weekends, holidays, and evenings. This job would be perfect for the person looking for a second job. All part time employees are eligible to earn paid time off (PTO), use of fitness center, contribute to Simple IRA if employee meets certain requirements. Must have or be able to obtain Chauffer's License. Must have or be able to obtain CPR/1st Aid Certification. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and support 100 pounds. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Home Based Aide  (Part Time)

Assists elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in their homes by attending to personal hygiene and/or housekeeping needs. Weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. An hourly premium is offered for evening and weekend shifts, and we also pay mileage. Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver

Our Home Delivered Meals program (Meals on Wheels) needs volunteer drivers. A few hours in the middle of the day (Monday - Friday) is all that is needed. Even if you are only able to give one or two days a week, (or just a few days a month) we could use your help!
