Respite Coordinator  (Full Time)

The preferred candidate will demonstrate supervisory experience and a passion for making a difference in the community. Working in the on-site Life Enrichment Program, the Respite Care Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Supervision of 1-10 employees and volunteers. You will be responsible to assist clients, their family members, and the general public with identification and resolution of problems and appropriate resources of referrals. Maintains time and payroll records, develops and maintains relations with other Human Services providers in the community. Assist with planning, design and day-to-day operations of the on-site Adult Respite Care area. Educates individuals and community about Respite Care and other Center programs. Ensures assessment and evaluation of cases in order to determine a plan of care. Ensures participant programs and activities are scheduled as required. Pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Must maintain prompt and regular attendance and demonstrate excellence in client service, problem solving, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates group presentation skills, participates in meetings, and communicates changes effectively. Inspires trust and respect, while exhibiting integrity and a high sense of ethics. Tolerates pressure well and maintains a high standard of quality.

Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services from a four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have or be able to obtain Chauffeurs license and CPR/1st Aid certification. Must be able to multi-task and work flexible hours, which may include weekends and evening hours. Home-Based Aide and Respite Specialist  (Part Time)

We are currently accepting applications/resumes for both Home Based Aides and Respite Specialists. Both positions pay $12 an hour with shift differential; travel and mileage pay included for Home-Based Aides only. Both positions attend to personal hygiene and feeding needs for elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons. Home-Based Aides may also provide help with chores and homemaking tasks. These positions are part time with varied hours week to week, and include weekends, holidays, and evenings. This job would be perfect for the person looking for a second job. All part time employees are eligible to earn paid time off (PTO), free membership to our state of the art Fitness Center, Simple IRA plan if employee meets certain requirements, and Teledoc/Call A Doctor. Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver

Our Home Delivered Meals program (Meals on Wheels) needs volunteer drivers. A few hours in the middle of the day (Monday - Friday) is all that is needed. Even if you are only able to give one or two days a week, (or just a few days a month) we could use your help!
